Membership connects urologists and residents from across Bosnia and Herzegovina through education, professional gatherings, scientific work and the exchange of knowledge.

01 - Requirements

Who can become a member

Join physicians and residents who together advance the urological profession in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Membership is voluntary and open to specialists in the field of urology.

Members of the Association may be citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as foreign nationals, who accept the Statute of the Association and its goals and activities and who are willing to contribute to the work of the Association.

  • Urology specialists.
  • Urology residents during their training.
  • Doctors of related specialties and healthcare workers (associate membership).
  • Scientific researchers in the field of medicine.
02 - Categories

Membership categories

In accordance with the Statute, the Association recognises three categories of membership.

Doctors of medicine specialising in urology and doctors undertaking a residency in urology.

  • The right to vote at the Assembly.
  • The right to elect and to be elected to the governing bodies.
  • Access to all activities of the Association.

Rights and duties of members

Participation in the work

Attending and voting at the Assembly, as well as submitting proposals and questions to the bodies of the Association.

Election of bodies

Members elect and may be elected to the governing bodies of the Association.

Being informed

The right to timely information about the work and activities of the Association.

Obligations

Respecting the Statute and the Code of Ethics, paying the membership fee and preserving the reputation of the Association.

04 - Procedure

How to join

Joining takes place in a few steps - from submitting the application form to enrolment in membership. You submit the application form to the Secretariat of the Association.

The application form is submitted on the prescribed form to the President of the Association.

Decision of the Assembly

The Assembly makes the decision on the admission of a new member.

Enrolment and membership card

The admitted member is entered in the register of members and receives a membership card.

05 - Membership fee

Membership fee

Members are required to pay an annual membership fee. The amount of the fee is determined by the Assembly of the Association, and the amount and method of payment will be published.

Fee amount

The amount of the membership fee will be published following a decision of the Assembly of the Association.
