Mission and goals
The Urology Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UUBiH) is a voluntary, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit professional organization that brings together specialist urologists, residents and other healthcare professionals interested in the development of urology.
Founded with the vision of creating a unified platform for collaboration, the exchange of knowledge and experience, and the promotion of modern achievements in the field of urology, the Association continuously advances the professional competencies of its members through educational activities, professional gatherings, scientific projects and international cooperation.
The goals and activities of the Association, as defined by its statute, are:
- Advancement of the urology profession in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Promotion of modern medical standards.
- Development of scientific research in urology.
- Improvement of the education of physicians and healthcare workers.
- Organization of professional and scientific gatherings in the field of urology.
- Improvement of the quality of healthcare for patients.
- Cooperation with domestic and international professional organizations.
What we do
The Association's activities encompass education, professional gatherings, scientific work, the preparation of resources and responsible public information. Specific programs are published as they are confirmed.

Organization and governance
The Association is governed by the Assembly, the president, the secretary and the treasurer, in accordance with the statute. The Assembly elects the bodies for a four-year term.
Assembly
The highest body of the Association, made up of all members; it adopts the statute, elects the bodies and decides on the work of the Association.
President
The legal representative of the Association; directs its work and implements the decisions of the Assembly. A four-year term.
Secretary
Handles administrative affairs, member records and communication for the Association. A four-year term.
Treasurer
Handles treasury affairs, records of membership fees and financial reports. A four-year term.
Emblem and logo
The Association's emblem is circular in shape. At the center of the emblem, on a pale-blue background, is a sketch of the urinary tract. Around the central circle is the name of the Association - Udruženje urologa u Bosni i Hercegovini and, in English, Urology Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina - separated by two blue dots.
The Association's logo is circular in shape, with the full name of the Association written in the Latin script.
